The Multi-Cloud Complexity Trap

Multi-cloud for “avoid lock-in” often creates dual skill debt. Choose deliberate placement, not symmetry for its own sake.

Running every workload on every cloud multiplies identity, networking, and observability problems. Teams then underinvest in depth on any one platform.

Optimize for outcomes, not symmetry

Place workloads where latency, data residency, managed services, or commercial terms justify it. Standardize on shared patterns for identity and CI/CD. Accept that some services will be cloud-specific.

Exit strategy matters more than identical deployments everywhere—document portable data and interfaces where exit risk is real.

Javan Informatics Group helps organizations turn these priorities into governed, operable programs—not one-off projects.
